BEHIND THE CREATIVITY SPOT
I know what it’s like to have the vision before you have the roadmap.
I’m Jasmine Norwood—creative professional, entrepreneur, and the founder of The Creativity Spot.
For years, I’ve worked behind the scenes turning ideas into something people could see, hear, feel, and experience.
My creative journey has taken me through photography, videography, graphic and website design, live event and radio production, and leadership as Vice President of Production for an independent television station.
But across every creative space, I kept seeing the same thing:
Great ideas weren’t usually missing. Clarity was.

Creator. Strategist. Idea-builder.
THE STORY BEHIND THE SPOT
I’ve always been the person who figures out how to bring the idea to life.
My creative journey didn’t follow one straight path—and that became one of my greatest strengths.
I’ve picked up cameras, designed graphics and websites, produced live events, worked in radio production, and helped bring television productions to life. Eventually, that journey led me into leadership as Vice President of Production for an independent television station.
The medium changed, but the work underneath it never really did.
There was an idea. A vision. Something that didn’t exist yet. And my job was to figure out how to make it real.
Over time, I realized that creativity wasn’t just about having talent or coming up with great ideas.
It was about knowing what to do with the idea once you had it.

IDEA → CLARITY → DIRECTION → CREATION
That process has followed me through every chapter of my creative life.
WHY THE CREATIVITY SPOT
But experience alone isn’t why I created this.
The Creativity Spot came from recognizing something I had experienced myself—and kept seeing in other creative people.
Having ideas isn’t always the hard part.
Sometimes the hardest part is having too many ideas, questioning which one deserves your attention, wondering whether you’re ready, and getting so caught up trying to figure everything out that nothing actually moves.
I know what it feels like to have creativity without a clear direction.
And I also know what can happen when the noise finally gets quiet enough for you to see the next move.
Sometimes a creative breakthrough isn’t a new idea.
It’s finally seeing what to do with the one you already have.
That’s why I created The Creativity Spot.
A place where creative people can slow down the noise, get clear about what they’re trying to create, and turn that clarity into intentional action.
WHAT I BELIEVE
Your creativity doesn’t need fixing.
Sometimes it just needs room to breathe.
I believe creative people are often carrying more than a lack of motivation.
We carry ideas. Expectations. Doubt. Possibilities. Things we’ve started. Things we’re afraid to start. And sometimes, the pressure to figure it all out becomes the very thing keeping us stuck.
The Creativity Spot isn’t about telling you what to create.
It’s about creating space for you to hear your own ideas more clearly, trust what you’re seeing, and make intentional decisions about what comes next.
Then make this the big closing statement:
I don’t give you the vision.
I help you see yours more clearly.
Then we figure out how to move it forward.
THIS IS WHERE YOUR IDEA COMES IN
The goal isn’t just to feel inspired.
It’s to move.
The Creativity Spot exists to help you move from creative overwhelm to intentional action—without losing the part of you that made the idea exciting in the first place.
01 — SEE IT
Get clear about the idea.
Separate what matters from all the noise surrounding it. Understand what you’re actually trying to create and why it deserves your attention.
02 — SHAPE IT
Give the idea direction.
Turn the thoughts, possibilities, and pieces in your head into something more defined, intentional, and possible to act on.
03 — MOVE IT
Take the next intentional step.
Build a direction you can follow so you’re no longer waiting for perfect clarity before you begin.
Because clarity isn’t the finish line.
It’s what makes movement possible.
And that’s what we’re here to help you do.

A NOTE FROM JASMINE
If you’ve been waiting for permission to create it, this is it.
I don’t know what idea brought you here.
Maybe it’s something you’ve been thinking about for years. Maybe it showed up last week. Maybe you can’t even fully explain what it is yet.
But if you keep coming back to it, I think that’s worth paying attention to.
You don’t have to know exactly how it’s going to work.
You don’t have to become someone else before you’re ready to begin.
And you definitely don’t have to have every step figured out.
Then make this slightly larger:
Start with what you know.
Get clear about what you don’t.
Then make the next move.
That’s what I hope The Creativity Spot becomes for you—a place where your ideas have room to become something real.
